I don’t know about you – but I’m just in need of some encouragement.

Let’s allow the wise words of others and the powerful word of God to lift us all up today:

“The best laughter, the laughter that can heal, the laughter that has the truest ring, is the laughter that flowers out of a love for life and its Giver.” – Maxine Hancock

Mary sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what [Jesus] taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, ‘Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”
But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her. – Luke 10:39-42

“A joyful heart is like a sunshine of God’s love, the hope of eternal happiness, a burning flame of God…And if we pray, we will become that sunshine of God’s love – in our own home, the place where we live, and in the world at large. ” – Mother Teresa

…the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. – from 1 John 4:4

Enjoy the rest of your week, Sweet Ones 🙂

    Hey Kate,
Hope you're feeling loved, cared for and encouraged today. Your blog always make me feel that way. You are VERY gifted in your writing and you minister to each of us.
    Thank you,
    Zoe

    Oh, sweet, sweet Kate!
I cannot tell you how much your comment blessed me! I could not help but laugh as I totally identified with your list! My poor husband and my poor dog would certainly have some tales to share with your husband and doggie! And I'm not pregnant, but I'm afraid I may have eaten my kids candy bar today! 🙂

Thank you for letting me know I am not alone. 🙂 And I am praying for you, that God will indeed encourage your heart today with His Word. Here is one of my favorite verses:

    "My soul melts from heaviness;
Strengthen me according to Your word." Ps. 119:28

I love that He knows there will be times we feel discouraged and that He has provided a way for us to gain strength…through His Word! And I know He uses fellowship to strengthen us, too. Thanks for blessing my day and encouraging me in the Lord!

    Consider yourself hugged right back!
    K 🙂

It's interesting but right now I'm also in need of some encouragement. And wouldn't you know there you were with some verses and quotes to lift us up. Thank you. Life is very interesting right now to say the least. But I'm so glad that we can visit each other's blogs and offer some words of encouragement. I love that! Hugs to you and may you be encouraged too.
