I feel like a bad blogger.

As I’m going about each day – I think of a zillion topics for blog posts. But since I’m usually smack dab in the middle of either changing a diaper or cleaning up messes – the neat little blog post ideas I come up with don’t ever come to fruition.

I want so badly to be a happenin’ blogger babe who regularly writes and who visits other happenin’ blogger babe’s blogs to see what they are up to. I’m gonna commit to it. I am. Just as soon as I get more than 3 hours of sleep a night – I plan on being a mighty fine and faithful blog lady.

Until then….I’m gonna leave you with some wise words that have encouraged me over the last few weeks. Enjoy them. I’ll be back here in the next few days to post again. Thanks for sticking with me ๐Ÿ™‚

“Sometimes we must stop praying for God’s work and start doing His work.”

“Complacency is a far more dangerous attitude than outrage.” – Naomi Littlebear Morena”

“Blessed are those that give without remembering and take without forgetting.” – Elizabeth Bibesco

“Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anyone expects of you. Never excuse yourself.” – Henry Ward Beecher

Have a lovely week, friends ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey Kate–if you have time-will you stop by my blog and check out the latest post. I need help and God put you on my heart. Thanks!

I generally get my blogs posted about 2:00 am. It is the only time there is quiet and time to get it done. I used to feel like I needed to post something every day, but then I am just filling space.

You only get to do this dance once, keep the focus on the main thing and the stuff like this, well, it will always be here, but your babies will only be babies for a very, very, VERY short time.

    Soak in every. single. second.

I hear ya, sister. I call it "the long fog" because it feels like one long day starting with birth and ending with the next time you get 6 hours of sleep in a row.

I got in the habit of carrying a teeny notebook around with me in the diaper bag. Actually, I had one in the car, one by the nursing chair, and one next to my bed, too. When I have a bloggy idea, I just write down whatever I can of the thought. I figure even if I write the title of the post, I'll have something to trigger the creative juices next time I get to the computer in my sleep deprived state.

And if all else fails, you can just post an entry of all the awesome post titles that you never wrote a story for. It'll make you feel so much more bloggy, I promise. I'm actually still mining my notebook for writing ideas from months ago.

I hope you are sleeping right now. I am about to take some tylenol pm (one perk of being done with nursing) and find some oblivion until tomorrow morning. I'll be thinking of you, hoping your bundle gets the hang of sleeping SOON!!!

This is your season for being the best mommy you can be. There will be time for blogging and visiting blogs at some point. But in the meantime, focus on what the Lord has called you to do for NOW. And love those babies to the Lord.

I follow your blog so anytime you have a moment to post, I'll be here to say hi.

Sending you hugs and praying you get some sleep too.

    Love,
    Debbie

I have been there, infact….I am still in the mess and diapers. The rest will come. For now, those little people get your attention and you can entertain us later with all that they have taught you.
