Weekend Words

So I’ve got another one word for our one wild weekend, friends:

Live loved.

When we know we’re…

adored

accepted

seen

understood

designed

enough

and wholly royal in God…

we don’t go around trying to find those things elsewhere, in other people and in other things.

What we do, the way we speak, how we interact, how we react, what we decide upon, what we participate in, what we consume, how we plan, how we work, how we learn, how we rest, how we dream, how we imagine, how we hear and see and process – is all gloriously effected by an infusion of the Divine when we live out of being loved by our Creator.

It just wafts in all kinds of sweet peace to my spirit to even consider it tonight.

Live loved. Live loved. Live loved. 

Whisper it, and shout it, and pray it, and say it to yourself, preach it to yourself, write it on your mirrors and on your calendars and all across your wrists and foreheads  – whatever it takes for you to not only see it but KNOW it.

Live loved because you ARE loved.

No.Matter.What.

And I mean it.

Go forth into this October weekend and function as if you are a friend, a family member, a child of the Most High King – seen and known and loved loved loved loved loved.

Now go and be and do – from the grasping of that.

Next week is Fall Break for my crew – something that became new to us when we moved to these parts. October needs a breather and so I’m glad we’ve got ourselves one! I plan to write a few times next week, but I don’t want to promise a constant regimen because I want to be present for face-to-face family time. I’ll be mustering up words though, and leaning in to listen to what the Lord is saying, and relaying it here at some point. Also remember, I’ll be picking names for treats at the end of the month, so feel free to comment if that’s your thing.
