The sun’s going down on the deck. It’s much too rickety to go out and write on these days but it will get redone in due time, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Still though, from the safety of our main level I can look out the windows and see all kinds of glorious color closing out the day, ending things with a bang of beauty so as to make us want to rise up and welcome it again in the morn! I very much prefer sunrises over sunsets. I’ve never been one to anticipate the wrapping of day, only the opening of it. Tonight’s finale is beautiful though, so I’m sitting here soaking it in as I prepare a new series for you.
I’m about to do a little bit of an October Blog Blitz.
Dare I say it, but I think I’m gonna attempt to post on the daily. We’ll see how she shakes out, but I’m feeling especially juiced about it as we saunter into a new month, and I’m anticipating a gladsome season here in my little corner of the interwebs.
We’re starting things off with a series called “3 Things“.
I’ll be sharing a short list of something each day. Maybe it will be three things I’m loving right now, or three things I’m reading, or three things I regret. Maybe it will be three things I loathe, or three things inspiring me, or three things I cherish. Who knows! Each day will offer up its own quirky theme. My hope and prayer is that you can pull something from each list that will catapult you into more peace, or more knowledge, or more love, or more life. And if not, at the very least, I trust it will work some things out in my own heart and mind as I weave and release.
Working our way through the month will allow the series to change. I’ll also be picking a few names from the comments here on the blog and on the socials – so that I can treat a few of you to something nice from one of the things I end up posting about. Should be a fun and hip and fantastic way to welcome autumn, yes?
